Boil water advisory lifted for two subdivisions along Charleston-South Charleston line
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (May 1, 2009)– West Virginia American Water has lifted a boil water advisory for customers in two housing divisions in Kanawha County. The affected areas were Augusta Place and Garden Heights in the Davis Creek Road area.
The advisory was issued Thursday after a water main break caused a water service disruption.
Results of water quality testing have confirmed that water quality meets drinking water standards, and there is no further need to boil water prior to consumption. West Virginia American Water thanks its customers for their patience and cooperation during this event. Customers are encouraged to share this information with other West Virginia American Water customers in the affected area listed above.
