WastewaterAmerican Water’s current wastewater compliance rate is greater than 99% with the majority of the facilities we own or operate meeting their discharge requirements every day throughout the year! Nevertheless, American Water is committed to continuing to improve our performance at our wastewater operations. We intend to do this by identifying specific areas for improvement at individual wastewater facilities through the use of a wastewater operations quantification tool while at the same time continuing to perform cutting edge research to improve our overall wastewater operations.
