- 30.1 mile, 42" underground water transmission pipeline through Fayette (3.84 miles), Franklin (15.37 miles), Owen (0.15 miles), and Scott (10.74 miles) counties. Construction scheduled to begin July 2008
- 55 percent of the water transmission line route is expected to be in public right-of-ways
- 45 percent of the water transmission line route is expected to involve private easements (Over 90 property owners)
- $162-million total project cost
- Fall 2010 completion

- Reynolds-Rogers, LLC of Orleans, Indiana for the Kentucky River Pool 3 Water Treatment Plant and Intake in Owen and Franklin Counties
- Garney Companies of Kansas City, Missouri for High Service Mains (underground water transmission lines) from the water treatment plant in Pool 3 of the Kentucky River to Kentucky American Water's Central District in Fayette County
- PAE & Associates of Brookville, Ohio for Booster Pump Station and tank located in Franklin County
