RUN FOR THE HELMET, St. Charles County

WHEN: Saturday, March 12 at 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

WHERE: Downtown Cottleville

Saturday, March 12 marks the eighth year that Missouri American Water volunteers have provided water to runs in the St. Patrick’s Day 7K RUN FOR THE HELMET in Cottleville. The race benefits the local fire department and the St. Pat’s Foundation.

CONFLUENCE TRASH BASH, St. Louis County

WHEN: Saturday, March 21 at 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

WHERE: Old Chain of Rocks Bridge, Creve Coeur Park, Sunset Park in Florissant &  Ferguson Lane in Bridgeton

Missouri American Water will help the Missouri River Relief at one of the largest clean-up events in the state.

WINGS OVER WATER, Jefferson City

WHEN:  Thursday, April 21, 5:30 & 7:00 p.m.

WHERE:  Runge Nature Conservation Center, 330 Commerce St.

Missouri American Water brings the Wings Over Water watershed education program to Runge Nature Conservation Center.  Bring your cameras to see the World Bird Sanctuary’s birds of prey up close and in flight!

 

EARTH DAY, Mexico

WHEN:  Friday, April 22, 5:00 p.m.

WHERE:  Lakeview Park, Mexico, MO.

Come see Missouri American Water’s “Wings Over Water” watershed education program featuring the World Bird Sanctuary’s birds of prey up close and in flight!

 

ST. LOUIS EARTH DAY

WHEN: Sunday, April 24 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

WHERE: The Muny in Forest Park

One of the largest celebrations in the nation, St. Louis’ Earth Day festivities are a great family activity.  Missouri American Water’s booth, near the Muny ticket booth features interactive water games.  And come enjoy the Wings Over Water programs at the Community Stage at 11:45 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.

THAT 80’S RUN. HEALTH AND WELLNESS EXPO, St. Charles County

WHEN: Saturday, April 30 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

WHERE: St. Charles Community College

Missouri American Water will hand out water at the new 80’s themed community run.  Stop by our booth at the Wellness Festival and play our Water Trivia game!

SALUTE TO AMERICA – Jefferson City

WHERE: Missouri Capitol Stage

Celebrate July 4 with Missouri American Water’s Wings Over Water watershed education programs featuring America’s symbol – the bald eagle.  Enjoy the World Bird Sanctuary’s birds of prey up close and in flight!

WHERE: Lewis and Clark Boathouse, St. Charles Riverfront

Missouri American Water sponsors this race – with volunteers involved from start to finish, in the water and on shore!  Stop by the Lewis and Clark Nature Center and Boathouse on Thursday and Friday to watch the canoes and kayaks cross the finish line in the world’s longest river race.

 

OPERATION CLEAN STREAM, St. Louis County

WHEN: Saturday, August 27, 8:30 a.m. (Fenton) 8:00 a.m. (Arnold)

WHERE:  George Winter Park in Fenton, Arnold City Park in Arnold.

Missouri American Water invites you to join us and the Open Space Council in a morning of cleaning up the Meramec River in Fenton or Arnold.

Walk back in Time, Mexico

WHEN: Saturday, September 24, 2016

WHERE: Audrain Historical Museum Complex, 501 Muldrow, Mexico, Mo.  

Our nation’s history comes to life with re-enactors depicting our history across the decades.  Missouri American Water brings “Wings Over Water” in celebration of our state’s rich natural history!  World Bird Sanctuary’s Birds of Prey will be on display all day, with an in-flight program set for the afternoon.

RACE TO THE DOME, Jefferson City

WHEN: Saturday, October 8, 9:00 a.m.

WHERE: Starting points are at the Hartsburg and Providence Missouri River Access Points

Missouri American Water presents the 7th annual Race to the Dome – a charity kayak and canoe river race that benefits Missouri River Relief’s river clean-up and educational activities.  It’s a great day on the river for a great cause!
