On any given weekend, you'll find Missouri American Water employees volunteering in support of water, environmental and other great causes in the communities that we serve. Come and join water conversations in your town!

ST LOUIS COUNTY HEALTH DEPT. HEALTH FAIR
WHEN: Saturday, April 12, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 pm
WHERE: St. Louis County Health Department Campus, 6121 N. Hanley Rd, Berkeley Mo.
Water is important to health! Stop by our booth at the St. Louis County Health Fair, play our water game and learn about your water service.

ST. LOUIS EARTH DAY
WHEN: Sunday, April 21st from 11am to 6pm
WHERE: The Muny in Forest Park
One of the largest celebrations in the nation, this year St. Louis’ Earth Day festivities include Missouri American Water’s “Wings Over Water” program with the World Bird Sanctuary. Stop by and enjoy birds of prey up close and in flight.

WINGS OVER WATER, EARTH DAY, Mexico
WHEN: Tuesday, April 22, 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
WHERE: Lakeview Park, Mexico Mo.
Celebrate Earth Day in Mexico Mo. with the “Wings Over Water” program at Lakeview Park. Wings Over Water is a watershed education program sponsored by Missouri American Water and the World Bird Sanctuary. Enjoy birds of prey, up close and in flight, as they illustrate the importance of preserving our watershed at a 5:00 p.m. program by the lake.

WINGS OVER WATER, RUNGE NATURE, Jefferson City
WHEN: Thursday, April 24, 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
WHERE: Runge Nature Center
Come to Wings Over Water -- a watershed education program sponsored by Missouri American Water and the World Bird Sanctuary. Watch birds of prey, up close and in flight, as they illustrate the importance of preserving our watersheds and our rivers – for wildlife and for us!

THAT 80’S RUN. HEALTH AND WELLNESS EXPO, St. Charles County 
WHEN: Saturday, April 26th from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. http://www.stchas.edu/events/run
WHERE: St. Charles Community College Student Center
Missouri American Water will hand out water at the new 80’s-themed community run and host an interactive water game at the Wellness festival in the Student Center.

RUN.LIVE.LEARN. HEALTH AND WELLNESS EXPO
WHEN: Saturday, April 27th from 8am to 11am
WHERE: St. Charles Community College Student Center
Missouri American Water teams will supply water for the runners and join the conversations at the Expo about healthy living.

ST. LOUIS EARTH DAY

Missouri American Water is a sponsor at the annual event raising donations that fund research, education, and advocacy for healthier hearts. Stop by our booth at Busch Stadium before the walk and join our team in walking for heart health.

CAASTLC HEALTH AND HOMEFEST, St. Louis County 
WHERE: Florissant City Hall
WHEN: Saturday, May 17, 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Family fun, plus health screenings, Affordable Care Act and LIHEAP assistance. Enjoy games and ideas on saving water at the Missouri American Water booth.

MISSOURI AMERICAN WATER MR340, Kansas City, Jefferson City and St. Louis County
WHEN: July 7 – 11 (Kansas City to St. Louis). See the world’s longest river race begin in Kansas City (on the morning of July 8), continue into Jefferson City and end in St. Charles, Mo.
On Thursday July 10 and Friday July 11, enjoy fun on the St. Charles Riverfront, with barbecue, free admission to the Lewis and Clark Boathouse and Nature Center and the chance to watch the paddlers cross the finish line. rivermiles.com/mr340/

The MR340 Missouri River race benefits river cleanup and educational organizations. Come to the finish line for great food, free museum admission and a celebration of the paddlers crossing the finish line!

OPERATION CLEAN STREAM AND PASSPORT TO CLEAN WATER

WHERE: Operation Clean Stream - George Winter Park in Fenton, Passport to Clean Water - Greentree Park in Kirkwood Sponsored by the Open Space Council, Operation Clean Stream is one of the country’s largest and longest-running river restoration projects. Join Missouri American Water teams and hundreds of community volunteers working along the Meramec River to collect trash in boats or on the trails.

The Passport to Clean Water program introduces kids and their families to organizations that work to make rivers cleaner. Join the fun with interactive activities that allow kids to earn passports and a prize.
