We offer several convenient payment options:
PAY AUTOMATICALLY. NO STAMPS REQUIRED.
Save time and money. Residential customers can sign up for our Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT), and your bill will be paid on time, every time, directly from your checking or savings account on the date it is due. No stamps required. You will still receive a copy of your bill before the due date, so you will have time to ask any questions before payment. Best of all, it’s totally free! To enroll in the program, log on to My H2O Online or contact our customer service center.
Residential customers can use our self-service website, My H2O Online, to pay bills, manage accounts and more. Sign up today. Commercial customers and any others who are unable to register on the site can pay online by visiting www.water.paymybill.com.
PAY BY MAIL
Use the envelop provided with your bill, and send your payment along with the payment stub to: West Virginia American Water, PO Box 371880, Pittsburgh, PA 15250-7880. No cash, staples or paper clips, please.

PAY IN PERSON
West Virginia American has agreements with several authorized payment locations across the state. Please note, this list changes periodically. Customers are encouraged to call the location first, to ensure they still accept payments for West Virginia American Water. Please note these locations DO NOT accept payments by mail.
PAY THROUGH A THIRD PARTY
If someone handles paying your bills, such as a relative, trustee or social service organization, we can send a copy of your bill, as well as any reminder, past-due and shut-off notices, to that third party. Budget Billing is a free service that is available to residential customers. The program makes managing your cash flow easier by providing predictable monthly payments. By signing up for our new budget billing program, you can avoid seasonal spikes that may be difficult to pay when not planned for in advance. H20 Help to Others Program
Although our lives depend on an ample supply of tap water, many of us take water for granted. Unfortunately, there are many people and families who risk losing water service because they can’t pay their water bills. For customers who have fallen on difficult financial times, American Water’s H20 Help to Others Program has been providing assistance for over a decade to those who qualify in participating states.
H20 Help to Others Program takes a three-fold approach to assistance. Hardship grants, monthly service discounts and complimentary water-saving devices and education to change water use habits all combine to create a program that has helped thousands of families since it was founded in 1991.
Another benefit of H20 Help to Others Program is that if often connects customers with other sources of aid in their communities, including other assistance programs for which they might qualify. Typically, those who qualify for the program are able to begin paying their water and other utility bills in a timely manner, start meeting other financial obligations, and work toward self-sufficiency.
