Spring Flushing Program Begins April 5, 2021

New York American Water's spring flushing program begins Monday, April 5, 2021 and runs through June. Check out the schedule to see when your neighborhood is scheduled for flushing. Flushing can cause temporary discolored water in the area of flushing. What should you do to prepare for flushing? We recommend drawing water for cooking ahead of flushing in your area, storing water in the refrigerator for drinking, and checking for discolored water before using the washing machine or dishwasher.
