Huntington District Update – March 1, 12:00 p.m.:

West Virginia American Water has returned to normal operations following weather-related power impacts to its system. Customers should no longer experience intermittent water service outages as a result of generator power to remote facilities. Results of water quality testing have confirmed that water quality meets drinking water standards. Therefore, for those impacted customers there is no further need to boil water prior to consumption. West Virginia American Water thanks its customers for their patience and cooperation during this event. Customers are encouraged to share this information with other West Virginia American Water customers in the impacted area.
