SAVING CUSTOMERS MONEY THROUGH SMART INFRASTRUCTURE FUNDING
The Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST) provides funding in the form of grants and low-interest loans to support qualified water and wastewater infrastructure improvement projects.
PENNVEST funding allows us reduce the cost of improvement projects and save our customers money while safeguarding reliability and service quality now and into the future.
Since July 2024, we've been awarded more than $261.6 million in PENNVEST funding, including $29 million in grants and $231 million in low-interest loans, to modernize aging systems, improve water quality, replace lead service lines, protect the environment and strengthen reliability.
Every dollar saved through PENNVEST grants and loans is a dollar that can be reinvested into our systems or used to help lessen future costs to customers. It's part of our ongoing commitment to delivering safe, reliable service at the lowest reasonable cost while investing in the long-term health of the communities we serve.
