American Water Employees Spread Holiday Cheer, Donating Hundreds of Toys to Camden Charities

CAMDEN, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--American Water (NYSE: AWK), the largest publicly traded U.S. water and wastewater utility company, today announced that it partnered with The Boys & Girls Club of Camden County and The Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey to collect and donate hundreds of toys to these local Camden-based nonprofit organizations.

American Water employees were provided a “wish list” of toys for club members at The Boys & Girls Club of Camden County and children staying at The Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey during the month of December.

In addition to the toys, some employees provided monetary donations to the organizations and more than 75 employees volunteered at both nonprofits during the company’s Month of Service throughout September.
