Boil Water Order Lifted in Village of Leonore
Illinois American Water has lifted the boil water order in the Village of Leonore. The boil water order was issued Saturday night, Dec.15 due to a water main break. Tests taken this week have confirmed that the drinking water in Leonore meets all regulated quality standards.
“We appreciate the patience and understanding shown by our customers in Leonore during the boil water order,” said Holly Hunt, Operations Superintendent, Streator District. “I also appreciate the work by our employees to restore water service promptly for impacted customers last weekend.”
