Times of Water System Flushing in Fayette County Slightly Adjusted

LEXINGTON, Ky., (April 16, 2020) – The timing of Kentucky American Water’s water distribution system flushing activity in Fayette County has been slightly adjusted from what was announced previously. Rather than flushing hydrants in Fayette County during the late evening and early morning hours, crews will conduct this maintenance activity between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. from April 27 through May 15. Other areas’ times remain the same. An online map is available for customers to determine the dates crews will be flushing in their respective areas: www.tinyurl.com/kawcflush.
