Pennsylvania American Water Issues Low-Pressure Advisory for Uniontown Area Customers
PITTSBURGH, Pa. (April 24, 2025) — Pennsylvania American Water issued a low-pressure advisory today for customers in portions of the City of Uniontown, South Union Township, and North Union Township due to an emergency repair.
Repairs are expected to be completed by early this evening. The company reminds customers that when the work is completed, they may experience temporary changes in their water. For discoloration, run cold water at the lowest level of your home. For cloudy water, run water at the highest level of your home. Either condition should clear within 3-5 minutes of running water.
Customers were alerted through the company’s emergency notification system earlier this afternoon. Pennsylvania American Water apologizes for any inconvenience and appreciates customers’ patience and understanding as it resolves the issue.
