At West Virginia American Water, we encourage, honor, and celebrate organizations that aim to enhance opportunities and representation for all withinn our communites. It's vital to our culture, makes us stronger as a company and allows us to better serve our customers across West Virginia.
West Virginia American Water’s Community Advancement Grant will provide financial assistance to organizations seeking to develop and implement programs, training or community-related projects that strengthen our communites.
The maximum grant amount is $2,500.
To qualify for a grant, the organization, project or event must:
- Be located within a West Virginia American Water's service area
- Be a new, innovative community initiative or serve as significant expansion to an existing program
- Promote progress for people who have less access to programs or services in the community the organization serves
- Have 501(c)(3) designation or be a government agency (including public schools)
Individuals and religious organizations are not eligible to receive grants. Only nonprofit organizations within West Virginia American Water’s service territory are eligible to receive funding.
