Galloway Township Municipal Consent Hearing Scheduled for June 23, 2022

On September 30, 2021, New Jersey-American Water Company, Inc. (“NJAWC”) filed a petition with the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (“Board”) pursuant to N.J.S.A. 48:2-14, N.J.S.A. 48:3-11 to 15, N.J.S.A. 48:19-17, N.J.S.A. 48:19-20 and N.J.A.C. 14:1-5.5, and such other applicable regulations and statutes, to approve a municipal consent ordinance granted to NJAWC by the Township of Galloway (“Township”) to construct, lay, maintain and operate the necessary water mains, pipes and appurtenances throughout the areas of the Township not yet already served by NJAWC and to provide water service to those areas  and further granting consent to NJAWC to construct, lay, maintain and operate the necessary wastewater mains, pipes and appurtenances to Block 268, Lots 5 and 6 on the southeast side of Bremen Avenue, currently  the Renault Winery, and to provide wastewater service to only that property in the Township.
