Firefighter Grant Program

Missouri American Water is committed to strengthening the partnerships we have in place with our local fire departments and districts. Our firefighter grant program is designed to provide financial assistance to fire and emergency organizations serving communities in our service area.

GUIDELINES

Grants are available to uniformed professional and volunteer fire departments serving communities in the company’s designated service territories. The maximum grant amount is $1,000. Grant applications should indicate a need for funds to cover costs associated with the following:

Personal protective gear
Communications equipment
Firefighting tools
Water handling equipment
Training activities and materials (Reimbursement for specific costs including classes, manuals, student workbooks, etc.)
