Missouri American Water is building a new pipeline that will connect the drinking water system in Eureka to the system that serves the rest of our customers in St. Louis County. The pipeline will be approximately 6.3 miles long, extending south from Wildwood to the central portions of Eureka. Construction of the pipeline began in fall 2022 and is expected to take 24-30 months. The transmission main is expected to be completed in Q3 and customers can begin to be transitioned.
Project Update (as of June 2024)
Phase 2 – In Construction 3.1 miles within southern portions of Wildwood and northern sections of Eureka. Construction of this phase is currently underway with completion expected in Fall of 2024.
Phase 3 – In Construction Within 2 miles of the northeastern portion of the City of Eureka. Portions of Phase 3 are complete and final restoration is underway with completion expected in Fall of 2024.
